Weekly Pulse

We kicked off Tuesday with Rick, Amanda, and Denise, and the audit started the same day. I've completed a full crawl of all 174 public pages along with the first round of technical checks. The good news: the site's indexing setup is clean across the board and server response is fast. I've also identified early opportunities in structured data coverage, case study page metadata, and cookie compliance, and each will come with fixes and effort estimates in the audit document arriving Friday, July 31. I have the LLM audit you shared and I'm cross-referencing it as I go; its flags line up with what the crawl is showing.

All 20 development hours remain. The audit is included work and doesn't count against them; the clock starts once development begins after the Webflow handover.

Progress This Week

Project Management Complete

Kickoff, workspaces, and access setup

Held the kickoff call with Rick, Amanda, and Denise, stood up the shared Slack channel and project workspace, and confirmed access to Google Analytics, Search Console, and HubSpot. Rick turned the access requests around the same day.

Impact: The audit benchmarks can pull from your real analytics data, and work requests now have a clear home from day one.

Full site crawl and first technical checks

Crawled all 174 public pages and ran the first round of checks: redirects and status codes, canonicals, titles and meta data, structured data coverage, and an initial performance and tracking-script review.

Impact: Every audit finding is grounded in verified data from your actual pages rather than tool estimates, and these numbers become the baseline we measure improvement against.

Site audit and benchmarks

With the crawl done, the remaining passes are page structure and internal linking, a conversion review of key pages, the full accessibility scan Rick asked about at kickoff, and performance lab runs. Findings get organized into quick wins, medium lifts, and longer plays with effort estimates on each.

Next step: Deliver the recommendations document, Loom walkthrough, and baseline benchmarks Friday, July 31, then find a time to walk through the findings together.

Next Up

  1. Audit review meeting once you've had a chance to read the document. I'll suggest times when it lands.
  2. Development kickoff after the Webflow handover. First up are the audit quick wins and the landing page work we scoped at kickoff.
  3. Marker install and a short walkthrough video once I have Webflow access, so screenshot-based requests are ready before dev work begins.

Things we need from you this week

  • Thanks for the update on the punch list. Whenever your current team finishes up, an Agency guest invite to Webflow for daniel@bearhairdev.com is the one thing that gets development moving. The invite guide is in my kickoff email, and the guest seat costs you nothing.

Risks

Nothing to flag this week.

Notes

Have a great weekend.
