Michael's request with two new blog posts came in this week, and it opened the door to a bigger improvement. The current blog listing and single-post templates aren't doing the content any favors, with the post content taking up around a third of the page. So rather than publishing new posts into that layout, I've proposed redesigning both templates and organizing the library with categories. The approval request is with Sunny, and once she gives the go-ahead, the new posts publish into a blog that presents them properly.
1.75 hours logged out of 10 for July, with room reserved for the blog work once approved.
Michael submitted two new blog posts for the site. Before publishing them into the current layout, I scoped a redesign of the blog listing page and the single-post template, plus a category structure for the library, and sent the approach to Sunny for approval.
Next step: On Sunny's go-ahead, design the new listing page and single-post template, then publish the new posts into them.
The blog revamp approach is in the New Blog Pages task whenever you have a moment to look it over. A quick yes gets the new posts publishing into a much better blog.
