The blog plan is locked in. Sunny approved the redesign on Tuesday, the category structure is set (Treatment Options, Choosing an Orthodontist, Costs & Insurance, Treatment Tips), and I walked Michael through the new listing page mockup on Wednesday's call. That call also turned his SEO audit into captured tasks: page title updates across 22 pages, meta descriptions on 13, four URL changes with 301 redirects, and retiring the microsite URL structure. Michael confirms the blog cleanup list Monday, and the remaining July hours go to the blog revamp and the SEO batch this coming week. I also set Michael up with the Marker.io bug tool, so his reports now arrive with screenshots and system info attached.

2.5 hours logged out of 10 for July, with the remaining hours earmarked for the blog revamp and SEO batch in the final week of the month.

Blog revamp: plan approved and locked with Kairos

Sunny approved the blog redesign approach, the four-category structure is set, and Wednesday's walkthrough with Michael settled the rest: the listing page mockup, the delete-and-refurbish plan for the historical posts, featured image sizing, and Kairos supplying images for new posts going forward.

Impact: Everything needed to execute the blog rebuild is decided, so the build week ahead is all execution with no open questions.

Blog revamp: listing and single-post redesign

Building the new blog listing page and single-post template from the approved mockup, with categories and featured images assigned to the posts that stay.

Next step: Build the templates, then publish Michael's two new posts into them; historical cleanup starts once Michael confirms his keep list.

Microsite retirement: new URLs and sub-navigation removal

The old microsite pages are moving to conventional URLs and losing their separate sub-navigation so they sit cohesively in the main site. Michael is adding the new slugs to the URL changes task.

Next step: Apply the new URLs with 301 redirects once Michael provides the slugs.
